About Bastell
Two friends who got tired of hearing how badly trades treats people.
Bastell was started by Sam Bastow and Ian Ellis, who between them had heard the same stories far too many times. The installer who never called back. The quote that arrived three weeks late. The mess left behind in someone's living room.
What we actually care about Being too hot or too cold in your own home, or in the place you work every day, is miserable. Fixing that is genuinely satisfying work, and we think the people paying for it deserve to be looked after properly while it happens. So we built Bastell around the bit most people complain about: turning up when we say we will, explaining things clearly, working cleanly and finishing the job properly.
